Children are innovators.
Children are the future and the future requires creativity unlike anything that we have experienced before. A good friend of mine who is also involved in a charity that focuses on the education of children about the environment said, ‘Hopefully they will not grow up to be as stupid as us’. i can see his point an i would go further by saying they need to retain there natural ability to create and be inquisitive and not just learn other preconceived ideas and prejudices, and the way to do encourage them is by allowing them to continue their creativity as a form of critical thinking
it is my dream and that of the trustees that using the natural skills of the young and showing a few tricks of the ‘older’ creatives they will be excited by what they can create musically, and that can make huge changes like ripples in a pool.
