Vic Hyland
Vic has been involved in music and education for over 40 years teaching at numerous schools and colleges and performing with his band Red Touch.
Vic has been interested in the way that we learn and what makes a great musician and artist and using various psychological techniques such as NLP as used his findings to help thousands play the guitar, sing write songs and play in a band.
He started Bluescampuk over 15 years ago with Mike Kilgour working along with Chas Hodges (Chas and Dave) Chris Difford (Squeeze) Chaz Jankel (the Blockheads) to encourage people to play in a band.
Vic’s fascination for what makes a successful artist has led to the podcast ‘Creative’ where he interviews top creatives such as the acoustic guitarist Gordon Giltrap, the artist, poet and musician Billy Childish, and Adele’s guitarist Ben Thomas.
Vic is also a music examiner for the LCM.
Chris Penfold
Chris has been teaching keyboard and piano since the mid 90s and has previously been head of music at a grammar school in Kent where his specialism was music technology. Although now residing in France, Chris is continuing to teach and coach UK students via Zoom as well as teaching French students within France itself.
